This is a customized lesson designed to meet your specific needs, whether you want to improve your speaking skills, prepare for the JLPT, or refine your pronunciation.
For beginners, we use GENKI 1 as the main textbook to build a strong foundation. For other learners the lessons are structured based on carefully selected materials or tailored to individual goals. Whether you're aiming for confidence, exam success, or better pronunciation, I will ensure you get the most out of each session. Let’s work together to take your Japanese to the next level!

How it works
Book a lesson
Sign up and let me know your level of Japanese, if you are a beginner then we will start by using the book Genki 1 - third edition. If you are familiar with Japanese, you can tell me what you need help with. And if all this seems too daunting, then send me a message and I can send you in the right direction!
Online meetup
We´ll meet online for an hour private lesson.
Afterwards
We will most often finish with an actionable plan for your learning journey and I am always available for further questions to follow up on any teachings.

Will it be free conversation, or do we follow a set theme?We provide structured topics so you won’t feel lost, but there’s always room for natural conversation.

Will you correct my grammar and pronunciation?This class focuses on conversation, but I’ll naturally correct major mistakes as we talk!

Will I be placed in a class with students of different levels?You’ll take a level check before your first session to make sure you’re in the right class.

I'm not comfortable only speaking in Japanese.You will placed in speaking classes with people on the same level as you, who fell the same struggles. Additionally I’ll adjust my speaking style based on your level, so you won’t feel overwhelmed! But I also offer private lessons which can help you gain confidence before joining a class.
